Move ahead to witness the Krishnapura ki Chhatris. These cenotaphs are built in the memory of Holkar rulers and the structures are built on the cremation spot of the Holkar rulers. These have one of the most beautiful architectural heritage and located half a kilometer from Rajwada, which was also built by  the Holkar dynasty.

Statue of Devi Ahilya Bai

Pay your homage to Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar, the brave Maratha warrior queen. The idol of Devi Ahilya Bai is installed in front of Rajwada Palace.

Rajwada Palace

The biggest tourist attraction in Indore is the Rajwada, built-in 1749 by Malhar Rao Holkar to serve as his palace. The mammoth seven-storeyed palace, a combination of Maratha, Mughal and French architectural styles, reaches out to the sky from the chaotic lanes of Khajuri Bazaar, in the heart of the old city.

Gopal Mandir

Built by Krishna Bai Holkar in 1832 in Maratha architecture style, it possesses religious and heritage value. It enshrines 2ft tall Lord Krishna silver statue kept on a marble in-laid altar with silver-plated door.
