Unravelling the Timeless Beauty of Hindola Mahal: Mandu's Swinging Palace

Built around the end of the 15th century during the reign of Sultan Ghiyasuddin, the Hindola Mahal served as a private audience hall for the royal family and select courtiers. Standing tall at 27 metres in length, 8 metres in width, and 11 metres in height, Hindola Mahal is all about majesty and grandeur. Its architectural marvel, with walls bent at a 77-degree angle, lends it an ethereal appearance, seemingly frozen in time. The massive vaulted roof of the hall has disappeared, which once supported the huge ceiling above.
