Day 1 - Reach Indore and proceed to Bhopal
Arrive in Indore and after a quick lunch proceeds to Bhopal. Spend the evening at the Upper Lake. Drive or walk around the VIP road, which is the smaller version of the Marine Drive. Overnight at Bhopal.

Indore is well connected by flight to major cities like Bhopal, Gwalior, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Nagpur, Jaipur, Raipur Delhi and Mumbai. The airport is just 8 kms away from the city.
Indore is connected to most major cities like Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Vadodra to name a few. The station is divided into metre gauge and broad gauge. Khandwa and Ratlam are the two major junctions on the metre gauge.
Indore is well connected to other cities of the state through state and national highways. Other than that there is a bus/cab service to cities like Bhopal, Gwalior, Ujjain and Sanchiamong others.
Begum's Bhopal

Bhopal airport, about 13 km northwest of the city center, is well connected to cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune and Raipur. Taxis are available from the airport to reach the city center.
Bhopal is on the Delhi-Chennai main line. Major trains going from Mumbai to Delhi via Itarsi and Jhansi also go through Bhopal. Local buses and auto-rickshaws are available to reach the city center.
Regular state run and private bus services connect Bhopal with Indore, Mandu, Ujjain, Khajuraho, Pachmarhi, Gwalior, Sanchi, Jabalpur and Shivpuri.

Day 2 - Explore Bhopal's heritage and museums
We take a guided heritage walk through the old Bhopal city and understand the history and architecture. Bhopal was ruled solely by women for over 100 years between 1819 and 1926. The rule of Begums gave the city its waterworks, railways, a postal system and a municipality constituted in 1907. After lunch visit the Tribal Museum and the Manav Sanghralaya. Overnight at Bhopal.

Day 3 - Sanchi. Khajuraho Light and Sound show
Today we start early as it is a long drive. Visit the Buddhist Stupa and complex at Sanchi on the way. We proceed to Khajuraho and attend the light and sound show at the temple complex. Overnight at Khajuraho.

Graceful Khajuraho

Khajuraho Civil Aerodrome is located about 2 km from the town centre and is well connected to cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Varanasi and Indore. Taxis are available from the airport to reach the city centre.
You can get to Khajuraho in a train by getting off at the Khajuraho Railway Station, which is around 5 km from the main town centre. The station is well connected to Delhi and Varanasi and (via Satna Railway Station) to Mumbai and Kolkata.
Khajuraho is connected by road to cities like Jhansi, Orchha, Bandhavgarh and Chattarpur. You can hire a taxi from any of these places to get to the city.

Day 4 - Khajuraho temple tour. Evening Safari at Panna National Park
After breakfast, we visit the Khajuraho Temple complex and take a guided tour. The Khajuraho temples feature a variety of art work, of which 10% is sexual or erotic art outside and inside the temples; although they are the most famous.

Day 5 - Walk with Pardhis. Pandav Falls. Raneh Falls
After breakfast we go for a jungle walk with the Pardhis. Pardhis are a nomadic community that since the time of the Mughal emperors, have been hired to help in shikar (hunting).

Dazzling Panna
Mode of Travel
Nearest airport to Panna is Khajuraho (45 km). There are air links from Khajuraho to New Delhi.
The nearest railway stations are Satna and Khajuraho which are directly linked to Bhopal, Jabalpurand and Delhi. The distance between Panna to Satna and Khajuraho is only about 70 km and 45 km respectively.
A well maintained network of roads link Panna with most cities - Khajuraho (45 km), Bhopal (450 km) and a lot more.
