From the past few years, 'Jal Mahotsav' of Hanuwantiya has been one of the most talked events of the state. Hanuwantiya comes under the Khandwa district and is around 170 km from Indore and 248 km from the capital city Bhopal. The luxurious tent city also provides the facility of swimming pool for their in house guests; the event also showcases the colorful customs and rich traditions of Madhya Pradesh through the local art & craft, folk music & dance performances, and mouth-watering cuisines of the state during the event.

Apart from the different cultural activities, Jal Mahotsav also allows visitors to indulge in various adventurous activities like Hot Air Ballooning, Cycling, Cruise Boating, Water Parasailing, Para Motoring, Island Overnight Camping, Star Gazing, Bird Watching, etc.
