Tribal Trail in Madhya Pradesh (Theme: Tribal Trail, Heritage)

Day 1 - Arrival at Bhopal
The travel enthusiasts arrive at Bhopal by noon. After lunch, you can explore the Tribal Museum. In the evening, you can experience boating at the Upper lake and then conclude your day with a soulful dinner.

Bhopal airport, about 13 km northwest of the city center, is well connected to cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune and Raipur. Taxis are available from the airport to reach the city center.
Bhopal is on the Delhi-Chennai main line. Major trains going from Mumbai to Delhi via Itarsi and Jhansi also go through Bhopal. Local buses and auto-rickshaws are available to reach the city center.
Regular state run and private bus services connect Bhopal with Indore, Mandu, Ujjain, Khajuraho, Pachmarhi, Gwalior, Sanchi, Jabalpur and Shivpuri.

Day 2 - Explore Patalkot
Pack your bags to meet the BHARIA Tribe of Patalkot. On your way, plan a small excursion to the pre-historic World Heritage Site, Bhimbetka. After lunch at Tamia, Visit Karyam village and meet the BHARIA tribesmen, who are avid farmers and also possess great knowledge of medicinal herbs. 
Day 3 - Drive to Mandla
After a serene drive, arrive at Mandla and explore the Raj Rajeshwari temple well-known for 300 years old idols of the Gond Tribe.

Day 4 - Witness Exorcism at Chogaan
In the morning, visit Ramnagar Fort/ Moti Mahal from Mandla and witness the exhibition showcasing 100 years old collectables of GOND and BAIGA Tribes. After lunch, visit Chogaan, a holy place for tribes to get cures or blessings from evil spirits by worshipping their tribal gods.
Day 5 - Meet the BAIGA Tribe
Leave for Silpidi to meet the BAIGA Tribe, they are master blacksmiths and some of their women have traditional full-body tattoos. Later participate in a GOND painting workshop and a live tribal tattoo display

Day 6 - Trip to Jabalpur
Plan an early morning Temple visit in Jabalpur and then head towards Marble Rocks-Bhedaghat. You can also catch your flights back home from Jabalpur airport.
Day 7 - Back to Bhopal via Sanchi
Or you can travel back to Bhopal via Sanchi and explore the Sanchi stupas, monasteries, temples and pillars dating from the 3rd century BC to the 12th Century AD, also declared as the World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
